WakeShake Terms of Use
Effective date: September 25, 2026
These terms govern your use of the WakeShake apps for Android and iOS, published by Long Hung Ta ("we"). By using the app you agree to them. If you downloaded WakeShake from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If there is a conflict, these terms apply only to the extent that Apple's agreement permits.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use WakeShake on devices you own or control, for personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.
2. WakeShake Pro
- Monthly and Yearly are auto-renewing subscriptions. They are charged to your Google Play or Apple account when you confirm the purchase and renew automatically each month or year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions, or in your Apple Account → Subscriptions.
- Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro for as long as the app is offered, on the store account you bought it with.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country. Refunds are handled by Google or Apple under their policies.
- You can restore purchases on a new device signed in to the same store account from Settings → Restore purchases.
3. Alarms: important
WakeShake is designed to be reliable, but whether an alarm rings depends on your device, operating system settings, battery optimisation, Do Not Disturb/Focus modes, volume, notification permissions and other factors outside our control. Do not rely on WakeShake as your only alarm when missing it could cause harm or loss, such as medication, travel or safety-critical events. Wake-up missions ask you to move around or shake your phone. Use them only where it is safe to do so, and hold your phone securely.
4. Ads
On Android, the free version shows ads provided by third parties (the iOS app has no ads). We are not responsible for third-party ad content or websites.
5. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including missed alarms or appointments. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for WakeShake Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.
6. Changes and termination
We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Cancel any subscription separately in your store account.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law of your country of residence applies.
